Based of the story of the "Woman at the Well" (John 4) we believe that the God of the universe wants to invade our everyday lives and reveal who He is – a good, loving, and redeeming God who has invited us to be apart of they way He is making all things new through the person of Jesus.

Our mission states that the Well is a movement of Jesus Christ on the campus of Ashland University that seeks to glorify God the Father through the leading of the Holy Spirit by making Christ-following disciples and advancing God's Kingdom in tangible ways.

We do this through creating an environment where lives are changed as we:

Encounter the presence, power and love of Jesus Christ

Experience the joy of Incarnational community and

Respond to God for all that He is and all that He does through blessing others.

The Service

Our God is incredibly creative. Scripture testifies and our universe demonstrates that God is in the business of making things new, vibrant, strange and unique. Our worship service begins at 8pm on Thursday nights while Ashland University is in session.

When we gather we seek to glorify and lift up the name of Jesus through singing, dancing, acting, waving banners, raising our hands, and listening to the reading of Scripture. We desire to be the kind of worshipers the Father is seeking (John 4:23-24) and believe that there is no such thing as worship that is too extravagant, too costly, or too undignified.
